Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was selected to be a part of Australia during the Rugby Sevens 2013, but subsequent knee injuries kept her out of the game. It took a few years for Allana to get back in the rugby league. Allana participated in her first female rugby league game in 2015 and played in the game for New South Wales when they played Queensland. Allana is also a frequent radio presenter, appearing frequently on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana holds a professional teaching certification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos star and qualified teacher out of the sport arena she has played for Australia three times - in touch football, rugby league, and in rugby sevens. Jillaroos star Allana Ferguson was forced to bring an early end to her rugby league career following a tear to her ACL four times. Ferguson, 25, had torn her ACL in the same spot between 15-17 and 20 years old. After a fourth tear she realized that it was now the right time to end her career. Ferguson played the role of JILLAROOS team's lead player. Ferguson was forced to quit in the wake of a fourth left ACL injury. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she suffered the injury during training in the month of November. She was a player in the women's rugby league throughout the years.
